The live soundtrack to this performance in Berlin will be created by sampling, looping and modulating the sounds made on a piano harp using horsehair bows played by myself & Sven Werner. David Russon will narrate 3 interconnected stories focusing on moments of letting go and slowing down. Wilhelm Singer is the Passenger.
This immersive audiovisual installation that I have provided the sound for is running at the Storyhouse in Chester from May 2019 for one year. Four stories that will be told over the year centre on 4 people of those who have travelled to and settled in Chester from elsewhere and the places from where they began their journey. The story and sound pieces will change every 3 months. The sound pieces were made using resonators applied to 20 inch crash cymbals to give an other-worldly quality to the sound.
